Ainur Gainetdinov
Senior Deep Learning / Computer Vision Engineer at VicMan LLC
Ainur graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University with a master's degree in Mechatronics and Robotics. During his studies, he conducted research in the field of machine learning, developed a road marking recognition system, and successfully conducted field trials in Moscow. Afterwards, he started working for his academic advisor's company, Vision Labs, which he eventually co-founded. Currently, he works as a Senior Deep Learning Engineer and Team Lead at the international company VicMan LLC.
One of his recent achievements was co-creating the AI photo editing app, ToonMe, which has been downloaded by over 100 million people and occasionally ranks #1 in the Apple Store's app rankings in the US.
Ainur is actively invited to various popular IT events and competitions, where he acts as a presenter or judge. Notably, he was invited as a judge for the Russian Programming Championship organized by the Sports Programming Federation. He has also served as a judge in several international and Russian competitions, including MetroHacks 2022, Avanpost Challenge, Burning Heroes PM Contest, and Bay Area Hacks, among others.
Ainur is passionate about studying and conducting research. As a result, he has published many scientific articles in VAK-indexed journals, with one article already published and a second currently in progress. Additionally, he shares his AI experiences on the Medium platform through his writings.
