Sergey has an extensive background in IT with 14 years of experience, proficient in programming languages and technologies including JavaScript (React, Angular), Node.js, Java, and the Azure platform. He holds a master's degree in "Mathematical Methods in Economics" from Kazan State University, Russia. His career includes significant roles in international projects across major companies like Optum, Verizon, Comcast, and SberBank.
From October 2013 to January 2017, Sergey worked at SberBank in Moscow, Russia, as an SAP HR Consultant and ABAP Developer, focusing on integrating the SAP HR system with an employer self-service application for managing employee leave requests, handled by HR representatives.
Between September 2019 and April 2021, Sergey was employed by Verizon in Piscataway, NJ, USA, as a Front End Developer. Here, he developed a reusable UI Components Library, publishing internal npm modules to standardize UI logic for easy integration into new projects.
Since May 2021, Sergey has been a Senior Full Stack Developer at Optum, working remotely with a team spread across the US. His projects include developing a "Doctor appointment" application flow with a video lobby feature and a "Saving center" app that uses AI/ML technology to help customers save on medical prescriptions by suggesting cheaper alternatives and delivery options.
